Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted only if:

  • Items are unused, unopened, and in their original, resalable packaging.
  • Products are in new condition with all tags, labels, and accessories intact.
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is provided.

Non-Returnable Items (all sales final):

  • Any opened, used, or partially used fire starter packs (due to safety, hygiene, flammability, and regulatory reasons).
  • Custom, personalized, clearance, sale, or discounted items (unless defective).
  • Products damaged by customer misuse, improper storage, or after delivery.
  • Gift cards or digital products (if offered).

Fire starters are combustible/hazardous materials. We cannot accept returns on opened or used products for safety and legal compliance.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos for verification.

  • For transit-damaged items, we will issue a replacement by default.
  • Refunds for transit damage or defective items are handled at our sole discretion after inspection.
  • We may require additional documentation or photos before approving any refund or replacement.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number — returns without RMA may be refused or returned at your expense.
  2. Ship the item back to our New Mexico address (provided with RMA). You pay return shipping unless we determine the item qualifies for a full remedy.
  3. Use trackable, insured shipping.

Refunds

  • Refunds are processed after inspection (usually within 5–10 business days).
  • Issued to the original payment method.
  • Original shipping & handling fees are non-refundable.
  • Restocking fee of 20% may apply to approved non-defective returns.
  • Store credit is preferred for non-defective returns where possible.

Governing Law & Limitations

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Miguel County, New Mexico. We reserve the right to modify this policy; the version in effect at purchase applies.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

This policy complies with New Mexico law (no mandatory refunds for non-defective goods when clearly disclosed) and the Unfair Practices Act.

Flammable Goods / Hazardous Materials Note

Our fire starters are classified as combustible/flammable consumer products. For safety and compliance with federal (DOT/USPS/UPS) and New Mexico regulations, opened or used products cannot be returned or shipped back. Any return of potentially hazardous materials must comply with all applicable shipping laws.
